Not trying to be morbid or depressing, some of these songs are just lovely or passionate. I chose this theme in anticipation of Lake City's Sweeney Todd and Civic's Next to Normal. I've also started stage managing Civic's production of On Golden Pond, which also faces issues of aging and Alzheimers (although when it was written, we didn't recognize the signs of Alzheimers). Theater continues to put perspective on life's issues.

Carols for a Cure 2012

All of the Carols for a Cure CDs are available at the BroadwayCares.org online store: broadwaycares.stores.yahoo.net. I'll admit that not all of the tracks are winners, but the ones that I like are probably different than the ones you'd find favorites. For example, I'm not a fan of celeb blogger Perez Hilton but you might find him and his "Perez Hilton Christmas" hysterical.
