Dec 19: Carols for a Cure

I hope this doesn't sound like an info-mercial, but I truly love the Carols for a Cure CD set. Casts of Broadway shows get studio time and sing a song for the holidays of their choosing, in a style of their choosing. This means familiar songs in traditional choral renditions, old songs with a new spin, and some really great new songs that otherwise might not get heard - at least for us here away from the Cabaret circuit. All proceeds benefit Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS. All of these albums are available from the Broadway Cares store - there's also a collection of all 9 volumes available. The other CDs available are also on my wish list, they're great.

Don't know who Lisa-Beth Lambert is, but Rockin' christmas Angel was written by Greg Morrison and Lisa Michelle Lambert (not that she ever uses her middle name)

Good point - I admit I didn't double-check the info that popped in when I put the CD into my database. My bad (or maybe it was too much eggnog). In any case, I'll fix that listing. By the way, as I'm sure Anonymous already knows, Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison wrote Drowsy Chaperone; fitting that the cast of their show shares another one of their songs.
